Purpose
The井架 is an indispensable surface support structure during the shaft sinking and hoisting‑equipment installation phases in underground mining. Erected above the shaft opening, its primary function is to suspend and bear the entire load incurred during shaft sinking, including the weight of equipment such as the skip, rock‑grabbing machine, and water pump, as well as the tensile forces exerted by wire ropes used to hoist personnel, materials, and waste rock via the headframe platform. It combines high adaptability, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
Features
Truss structures offer superior load-bearing capacity: constructed by welding large I-beams or steel pipes into a truss configuration, they provide significant advantages in terms of high load capacity and robust overall stability, enabling them to support the suspended weights of various pieces of equipment during shaft sinking operations.
Modular configuration: The overall structure is divided into three major components—the main frame, the head sheave platform, and the waste‑rock discharge platform—each with clearly defined functional zones, facilitating on-site installation and subsequent modifications.
Removable and Reusable: The derrick is designed as a modular, disassemblable structure, with components that are easy to dismantle, transport, and reassemble, allowing it to be relocated to the next site for reuse after completing the excavation of one wellbore.
Strong economic adaptability: Thanks to its reusable design, it requires lower capital investment than conventional derricks and can accommodate variations in wellbore dimensions and construction methods.
