Product Use

This product is designed and manufactured in accordance with the People’s Republic of China’s industry standard for safety in production, AQ1033-2007, “Safety Inspection Specifications for JTP-Type Hoisting Winches Used in Coal Mines”; the People’s Republic of China’s mechanical industry standard, JB/T7888-2010, “JTP-Type Mining Hoisting Winches”; and the company’s enterprise standard, Q/HBSHM002-2016, “JTP-Type Mining Hoisting Winches.” It is suitable for use in inclined roadways and shafts—both aboveground and underground—in coal mines, metal mines, and non-metallic mines, for lifting and lowering materials or personnel.

Structural features of the spindle assembly

The main shaft assembly of this hoisting (machine) winch consists of components such as a fixed drum, a movable drum (used only in double-drum models), the main shaft, two bearing housings, and a rope-adjusting mechanism (used only in double-drum models). These components are designed to wind or release steel wire ropes. In single-drum hoisting (machine) winches, the steel wire rope exits from the top; in double-drum hoisting (machine) winches, the movable drum has the rope exiting from the bottom, while the fixed drum has the rope exiting from the top. The drums are fitted with lining wood.

The drum of the hoisting (machine) winch is designed according to the latest elasticity theory, and Q345A high-strength low-alloy steel is selected as the material for the drum shell. Two types are available: fully welded construction and partially bolted connection. For ease of maintenance or replacement during operation, the drum can also be designed in a split configuration.

The two ends of the main shaft are equipped with adjustable, self-aligning double-row roller bearings, which offer high efficiency and facilitate easy disassembly and maintenance. As a result, this series of mine hoisting winches features fully rolling transmission for all rotating parts, achieving an overall machine efficiency of over 90%. This makes it an energy-efficient mine hoisting (machine) winch.
