Description

The YTS series (IP23) motor is a three-phase asynchronous motor specially designed for hoisting applications, tailored to the actual operating conditions of hoisting machinery loads. This series of motors is powered by a variable-frequency drive and offers constant-torque speed control within the 0–50 Hz range and constant-power speed control within the 50–100 Hz range. Featuring high starting torque, strong overload capacity, smooth speed regulation, and reliable operation, this motor is an ideal choice for hoisting equipment requiring stepless speed control and intelligent automation.

The motor’s protection class is IP23, and its cooling method is IC01—meaning the motor features an open-type, self-circulating ventilation cooling system. This design offers excellent ventilation and heat dissipation capabilities and completely eliminates the drawbacks commonly associated with variable-frequency speed-regulated motors that rely on additional axial-flow fans for forced ventilation cooling, such as significant ventilation noise and the inability of the motor to function normally following a failure of the axial-flow fan.

The motor operates continuously under the standard duty cycle S1; its insulation class is F. It employs specialized electromagnetic wire for variable-frequency motor windings and a high-strength, voltage-resistant insulation structure. Under rated conditions (rated voltage, rated power, and standard duty cycle), the winding temperature rise typically does not exceed 65 K, ensuring high operational reliability.
