Hook head device (5-15t)

The hook head and connecting device, often referred to simply as the hook head assembly.

It has a simple structure, with all components machined from forgings. It features a single-purpose application and is primarily used for suspending buckets during shaft sinking operations in vertical shafts. Based on the actual load of the bucket, select the corresponding model of hook assembly. There are two types of wire-rope connection methods: Type I and Type II. Type I employs an off-center rope-guard ring for connection; Type II uses a conical sleeve connected to the wire rope via a casting of Babbitt alloy. The Babbitt alloy fuses the conical sleeve, wedge, and wire rope together, ensuring a secure connection without damaging the wire rope.
